First Image

Hi everyone
I just installed pixelpost in view of creating travel photoblogs..because the travelblogs depict trips i need to have a way to view the photos in chronological order..i want to tell the story with photos...

pixelpost provides latest (current) image but does it support First image?

I can easily workaround this by linking to the first photo:
http://www.blogdomain.com/photoblog/index.php?showimage=4

but the first photo is not always #1 - if you have deleted records.
(i will probably create 1 table per travelog)

does this functionality exist in pixelpost or do i just link to an id?

Hi and welcome!

Well, that is not a functionality per se, the latest image for sure is presented as the most actual one should be seen at the front page
there is also an Addon which shows the newest image outside of Pixelpost

but the first one, that could be either an Addon or just a link to it

..i love pixelpost because it is so simple..i dumped coppermine and gallery because they are overkill..all that to say maintaining a proper link will be much easier than addons. i want to focus on my photos..not php

I am sorry, I am in the middle of preparing a photo exhibition ;=)
