I'm new to this and I would really appreciate some help.

I logged on to the Wiki and followed the installaton instructions. I even downloaded the preferred FileZilla and Crimson Editor along with eleven2 to use with PixelPost.

I thought I had done everything ok until I get to the part where you need to run install.php. I continue to get an error that the webpage chromaticsoul.com can't be found.

I set the host to chromaticsoul.com per the SQL database
I changed my user login per the SQL database
I changed my password per the SQL database
I changed the database per the SQL database

What possible areas should I be checking if the webpage comes up as not existing?

Thank you for your help.

you should ask e2 about this problem. to me it would see that the dns or something just hasn't been fully setup yet. when did you buy your packaging? you should give them at least 24 hours to set everything up for you. did you buy your domain with e2 as well as the hosting?

Thank you I will start there. I did buy the domain name with them, but I waited until I got the email from them indicating that all was set up with addresses and such. Hopefully that will solve the problem. Thanks for the quick response.

I set the host to chromaticsoul.com per the SQL database

for sure the "host" in pixelpost.php must be set to "localhost" with eleven2

$pixelpost_db_host = "localhost"; // database host, often "localhost"
$pixelpost_db_user = "......"; // database user
$pixelpost_db_pass = "......"; // database user password
$pixelpost_db_pixelpost = "......"; // database

please correct that and I think you will have more succes

Thank you. I had that originally but was trying several different things after I couldn't get up and running. I've contacted eleven2 and it turns out I have not my domain name is not registered. Thank you all for the great support.

it shouldnt take long once the domain registration goes through, the last domain i setup rolled over in like 15 minutes...i remember when this used to take like 72 hours
