Current Version displayed in Admin?

Hi,

I downloaded and installed PP back in May 2006, from the PP site, so my guess is I musta have downloaded and installed the current version, 1.5rc1. However, when I go to the Admin section, click on General Info, and then do the version Check, it tells me to download the most recent version.

This is what is currently being displayed when I click on Check:

You are running Pixelpost version 1.5 - April 2006
Latest pixelpost version: 1.5 rc1 - Download the latest version from Pixelpost.org

However, when I downloaded 1.5rc1 today, I noticed the version numbers are the same in both pixelpost.php files.

Is there a way to tell if I do in fact have the most current version running? Will 1.5rc1 show up as "You are running Pixelpost version 1.5rc1" in the General Info section?

if you have 1.5rc you do indeed have the most current version. we are already aware that the check feature can be confusing and we are going to be working on a clearer indication in the future.
