Hello everyone,
I'm a new PP user, so please bear with me. I've browsed through the forum and read the wiki, but have not found answers to my questions. I'm having a few problems with pixel post, and hope that you guys can help me out.
1. I cannot change my template. The default is to use the 'simple' template. I load all my images, and everything looks great. Later, I tried changing it to 'pixelpost-dark'. It seemed to work ok, and told me that I may need to reload for the changes to be effective. Now, when I go to my gallery, it comes up with a real ugly screen, and none of my pictures work. I have to set it back to 'simple' template for it to look right again. What do I have to do to 'reload' the thing? Is switching templates not as easy as I am trying to make it?
2. When going to the main gallery (eg: http://www.mydomainhere.com/pixelpost), why does it default to show the last picture in the database? I want it to start with the FIRST picture. How do I get it to default to the first pic?
3. How does the 'mass editing' work? I have a bunch of images in my 'default' category, but I want to move them all into a new category. Do I have to manually click each image and then 'mass move' them into the new category? Is there a way to select all images?
4. How do I make it so that the user can select different resolutions of images? I'd like to be able to upload full resolution pictures, and then have pixelpost display smaller versions on the pages. Then, if the user clicks the image, a larger version would be available.
5. How can I change the sequence that the images are displayed? Right now, they just go by filename. I want to be able to move the images around to change the sequence that they are displayed. Is there an easy way to do this, or do I have to monkey with the filenames before I upload them all?
6. Currently, the last image is displayed by default, and if the user clicks the image, it starts moving backward through the list. I want the exact opposite. Start with pic #1, and have each click advance through the list.
