ok I have been trying to find a clear cut answer to this question.
I want to be able to upload more than one picture at a time...how the heck can I do that?
thanks in advanced!

yes, there is a Copy Folder addon. it's bundled with pp.
choose your image upload folder, and one click is ok.
I always use it, and I love it. ;-)

your operating system should have nothing to do with pixelpost, pixelpost runs on php/mysql not OSX or windows.
can you give us the specific error and tell us your server information?

When I try to do the mass file uplaod this is what I get in the area above the addon section
Warning: opendir(../france/final16/) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/anippe/public_html/unloveyou/france/addons/copy_folder.php on line 58
Warning: asort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/anippe/public_html/unloveyou/france/addons/copy_folder.php on line 226
Warning: reset() [function.reset]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/anippe/public_html/unloveyou/france/addons/copy_folder.php on line 227
Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/anippe/public_html/unloveyou/france/addons/copy_folder.php on line 228
and then at the bottom a message saying 0 files were uploaded...
*bangs head*
ok, so I figured out the first problem, now my only issue is with copy_folder...I jsut don't get how it works!

umm probally 40 mb...give or take...so about 65 files
but I have tired it with smaller folders and still nothing
my problem is I don't know if I need to upload the folder itself from to my ftp, or can I do it from my computer?

you use your ftp to upload the folder to the server, then tell the copy folder addon to run that folder from the path
the addon by default gives ../ this is one level above the addons folder, so it is the root of pixelpost, so if you have ../test_folder/ then it would run the script for the images in the test folder in the maine pixelpost directory...i think, lol...Ive never actually had a use for this script before, defeats the reason behind the idea of a photoblog
40mb is probably too large, the average image at web resolution is 100-400kb, 40mb of this is A LOT of images, and your server may or may not be able to handle that
try with one image, then see what it says.
