Upgrade issues

Hello all, I'm trying to upgrade from 1.4.3 to 1.5. Everytime I attempt to run the install.php file, I get the following error message...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: upgradeto15beta() in /my site/admin/install.php on line 150

I believe I properly followed the instructions in the readme file, but I must have missed something. Any ideas? Thanks for any help, and sorry if this has been answered before, I couldn't find anything using a search.

i dont think there was any database upgrade from 1.4.3 to 1.5beta, is yoru site functioning ok?

It's working fine, just weird that I can't get it to upgrade. It still thinks it is 1.4.3

Ok, so the plot has thickened. I went to install a copy of the current pixelpost release unrelated to this upgrade attempt and I can't get that to work either.

I'm getting this error message on the install.php file...

Warning: main(functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /my site/includes/create_tables.php on line 36

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'functions.php' (include_path='') in /my site/includes/create_tables.php on line 36

I guess I'm just curious about what I'm doing wrong here. I followed the readme instructions and I've done things like this before (I set up a forum and a wiki on my webspace prior to working with pixelpost), I'm really just confused by what's happening here.

Did you copy all the files to server from unpacked ZIP archive??

As far as I know, I moved everything, but I will check just to make sure.

I re-did the whole thing, double checked that I had uploaded everything and I am still getting the same message.

Which PHP and MySQL version and which Pixelpost edition do you have right there?

PHP Version: 4.3.10
MySQL Version: 4.0.23
Old PixelPost Edition: 1.4.3
Edition I'm trying to install: 1.5 rc1-2
