ok thanx, but know the next question (sorry)
how i up date it??
I am using :
"You are running Pixelpost version 1.5 - April 2006
Latest pixelpost version: Check "
So I make click in Check and this appears:
Warning: file_get_contents(http://www.pixelpost.org/service/version.txt): failed to open stream: No route to host in /home3/folder/public_html/admin/view_info.php on line 11
so what I have to do??
Thanx
(sorry for my english is really bad)
Try to reupload the newset downloadable PP version on your site. As you have 1.5 Beta then it will be enough.

I migrated to a new host...and went from 1.5b to 1.5rc. I moved over the db, all the images, thumbnails, ran the install.php...but I'm still getting this error message when I go to the site index page.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/skenne12/public_html/chromaticus/index.php on line 903
It should be noted that I can upload photos...just can't get to the index page.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/skenne12/public_html/chromaticus/index.php on line 903
this means that there is an error in the file, syntax error, missing apostrophe etc.
did you upload the files in ASCII-mode?????
did you edit index.php before uploading ?????
And we sugest to update it with 1.5 Final.

I misspoke earlier. I downloaded the files yesterday from the link on the main Pixelpost.org page, so it was 1.5 final. All I did was unpack them, upload them using passive FTP (via FrontPage), and then ran the /admin/install.php. I did not open or edit anything except for the one file that you have to put your database information in. I will download them again and try it later today.

I uploaded a fresh index.php file and everything seems to be working now. The other one must have gotten corrupted...thanks for helping identify that as the issue!

I am always glad when it's working finally!
Great!
