Help With Installing Pixelpost

Hi,

I got my domain name from Godaddy.com and hosting from Powweb. Among with the pixelpost installation tutorial posted here I followed the steps on pixelpost wiki (how to install pixelpost?) and checked the forums. I am missing a step but I can't figure out which one and I would be glad if somebody could help me!

I created a database on powweb, put the pixelpost folder on the cute ftp. The script to MySQL is
$pixelpost_db_host = "localhost"; // database host, often "localhost"
$pixelpost_db_user = "iremcan"; // database user (or username)
$pixelpost_db_pass = "ipanema"; // database user password

Then the next step is going to http://domain.tld/pixelpost/admin/install.php to finish the installation as far as I can understand. But it doesn't work. The page cannot be displayed.

I also tried putting mysql15.powweb.com instead of 'localhost' as on MySQL page it says that database is on mysql15.powweb.com. That didn't work either.

I also don't understand what exactly 'path to domain' means and where I can see it.:confused:

What do you exactly mean by "But it doesn't work."? Is there any error on screen or somthing?

Hey there! I'm new at this myself and actually don't even have mine working, but you noted below that you are going to http://domain.tld/pixelpost/admin/install.php. I just wanted to be sure you are replacing domain.tld in the address above with whatever your URL is. Hope that helps!

Thank you for your replies :)
After uploading the pixelpost folders on the ftp I open a new web browser and put the URL with my domain name and i get the message 'the page cannot be displayed'.
I put my details for the localhost, the database user name and password on the pixelpost php file in the includes folder. And somebody mentioned to put them in the index php file as well. Is that what is supposed to be done?

nothing in index.php, absolutely not!
