I've been using the 1.5RC1 version and today I upgraded to the new 1.5 following the instructions found in the doc directory.
But in the general options I still got this stuff:
Latest pixelpost version: 1.5 - Download the latest version from Pixelpost.org

what happened ?

thanks

Nicola, have you tried running install.php from the admin folder?

http://yoursite/admin/install.php?

if you didn't replace your includes/pixelpost.php file then that's where the problem is. that text is encoded in the pixelpost.php file.

I fixed the pixelpost.php file and now:
You are running Pixelpost version 1.5 Final - July 2006
Latest pixelpost version: 1.5 - Download the latest version from Pixelpost.org
I tryed hitting reload, deleting the browser cache

After my upgrade I get the same result at Nicola, and when i was running RC1 before FINAL was released it would also always tell me to upgrade.

Hmm, interesting... I didn't replace the pixelpost.php file because I was to lazy to set the database access up.

I just replaced the file and seems you're right. I now get the latest version information (July 2006).

we'll have to find a way to make this a little better, something that tells you to update on the main page...maybe down the road we'll make the admin more portal like, with information about pixelpost updates and such.
