I followed everything in the tutorial and I think I did well but when I try to connect to my site, I get this "error message" :
Connect DB Error: Access denied for user: 'edleb_fr@******.st2.lyceu.net' (Using password: NO) Cause #2
My web provider says I have no password required to access my SQL database. What should I write in the password field in the pixelpost.php file?
Please help me! I want my pixelpost!
PS: I'm french so be very clear in your explanations.

I doubt that any hoster will provide MYSQL-Databases without password ...
I checked lycos.fr and they offer MySQL-Database
I am sure that they do not offer MySQL-Database without Password
if so, I would change hoster immediately
I also see that they publish phpinfo on their hosting-overview-page
that is not good!!!!
if you are using a tripod-account (free domain with Lycos), the data will be:
MySQL-Server="localhost"
MySQL-Database-="extus_de_db"
MySQL-Username = "Tripod-Username"
MySQL-Passwort = "Tripod-Passwort"
check the database-name and enter your username and password
I am sure you did not use the correct data

In fact, it was my sql db that was no activated. But now, the new problem is that error message:
"Coming Soon. Not Installed Yet. Cause #1"
I followed every step of the tutorial and I can't see where is the error. If someone knows?
Concerning my host server, I verified, and in the mySQL DB informations they say: "password: no password asked".
To resume, it seems that my host server is not a very good one, but it's the only one I know with my SQL, PHP, and free. If you know another one, maybe it's the solution to my problems.
Thanks.

I once checked these free websites as well and I was disappointed and left.
But I do not understand why the hosting should be free.
If you estimate your photography, you could spend 1 or 2 EUR without problems, I think.
Here in Germany you find a lot of good hosters which give you a small domain with all necessary things like PHP and MySQL for not big money. I am sure in France it is the same.
In USA you get immense powered webspace for 5 or 7 dollars a month..
so you should not stick with a limited account where you have no control at all..
if you host with eleven2.com you will even get a 20% rebate ;=)

Yes, I begin to think you are right, but as I have a very poor knowledge in all these informatic things, I don't know what to choose as a host server, even if I have to pay a small price, the problem isn't here.
Eleven2 is maybe good, I'll see what choice I have.
Concerning my "Coming Soon. Not Installed Yet. Cause #1", any ideas?

you can read the text in the splashscreen?
"Coming Soon. Not Installed Yet. Cause #1",
if you read the 3 points below this message (#1, #2 and/or #3) you will find 3 possible explanations why this message is presented
it is not installed
database problems
any other problem
