View Full Version : Page-By-Page 'Index Not Found'
Greetings All,
I am trying to update my "Max Thumbs" in my Admin/addons section of my pixel post blog, however it says
Not Found
The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I don't understand because I clearly have an index page which seem to work fine.
You can view the site at www.pellphoto.com . The site is an addon doman and the actual URL is news.pellid.com .
Any insight you can provide in this situation would be appreciated.
All I want to do is add a limit to how many thumnails can be on my archive page!
Thanks in advance!
Steve Pell
IMHO all works fine.
BTW Very nice shots :)

that is a very odd issue indeed...i see no reason for it. Could it be some odd server config?

I've had the same issue. Can you tell me how you resolved this? Whenever I think it's fixed, it returns and I'm getting very frustrated.
Clear your browser's cache.

I've been seeing this error for a few days now, on more than one computer. It's not my browser's cache, I know that much.
I'm currently working with my host on this, and they are fairly certain it's an issue in the code. It appears to be related to one of my addon scripts, particularly for my archives page.
You can see it here:

OK, it's all better now. I had to remove some out-dated addons that were the culprit.

I am glad it is working now!
it is not a good idea to keep old addons in the addon-folder, they all will be read and that causes a lot of trouble..
but now, forget the troubles and enjoy it!

I am having he same issue.
Everything was working fine with categories, and now clicking on a category give me a page not found error.
This happened sometime after I renamed the "default" category. I don't know if my problem is related to that or not.

I have no solution for you, but we should keep an eye on that..
I will do a test-installation today and test that.
Smish, which version do you use?
It would be good for us to know that, give us the information from admin/general info, please

normally, renaming categories shouldn't cause problems because categories are called by their ID's.

you are right.
But I want to make sure and as I will start a new test today, I can test that as well
@Ruby,
which version are you using?
"Meetoo" is no chance for us to help ;=)

Hello,
same problem for me when I try to change the maximum number of thumbnails in each page in the Page-By-Page-Archive's administration page.
Message :

No solution at this time.
