Thumbnail paging... or something like that..

Let me try to explain what I would like to accomplish here.

On my site I have a vertical thumbnail row, displaying the latest 4 pictures, with the first one on top.

The other pictures can only be seen by browsing, but what I would like to do is add an arrow below the thumbnail row. If people would click this the 4 pictures before the 4 latest would show up.

Any idea if this is possible or if it has been done?

I didnt see such solution but like almost everything - it is possible.
