Modification on the first page

Hi!
Need some help.

I want to have a clean first page. No namne of the photo, no possibility t make a comment and no information about the camera. I am using 1.5 and the simply theme. In other word i want to delete the grey thing on the first page.
Can someody help me pleace.

you can help yourself :=)

read the wiki about how to identify and edit templates
then edit the template which you use and delete all the tags and elements which you do not want!

OK. I found the wiki and the files to change and i did the changes to.
But one more ? Do i need to delete the "comment_template.html" from the server as well?

the comment_template is, as the name says, for comments. it is up to you if you need comments on your blog or not :)

Dont want the people to make a comment mor than by e-mail to me...
I will take a way the comment files but i just want to know if it is safe to do so or will it crash?

By this, you havnt get noticed that the archive of your own photoblog not work correctly - if you click on 'weiter' you get nothing because there is a wrong syntax. :rolleyes:

that's so easy... I don't think Connie arrogant, but it give me a message: "just try it !". it encourage me it's not hard to handle it by myself. actually, when there is no help, I would try if I can do it. if I fail, I will humbly ask one more time till succeed.

lots of threads in this forum show the dev team are so kindly,accommodating,passionate and surely contributing.:)
