I have set up my photoblog with Pixelpost 1.4.3 a couple of month ago. Since then I make little changes to improve it. I am not really into css, javascript or programming, but was able to design my own template.

One thing that still bothers me is that on my browse/archive page, the font looks very thin, even if it is the same font and css I am using on my image and about page.

I have noticed this effect only when using Firefox on my Mac, in Safari it looks fine. This is not a big issue for me, but it would be good if someone could help me with it.

Thanks a lot in advance

Firefox on Windows looks fine. Maybe you have the text set to a different size in the browser itself?

Good to know that this effect does not show on Windows. It is only the font on the archive page that looks thin; its still the same size though. All other pages look fine in Firefox.

please update to the new version, it will give you more security! and a lot of bugs are fixed since 1.4.x

in OPERA 9, either the top is invisible or the links for navigation (maybe I have too many toolbars active?)

the navigation links look too dark at the bottom, I must say, I could not find the archive link! but the fontweight seems ok to me in Opera and Firefox

you have good photos, compliment!

Connie, I'm glad that you like my photos. Thanks for the critique. I might have to tweak the layout a bit more to improve the accessibility. Were you actually able to locate the previous and next image links?

yes, first I looked to the top of the page (standard behaviour .... ) and then to the bottom, I found them, they are visible

I would give them a bit more prominence... but the idea with the hover in orange is very good!

Thanks a lot, Connie.

On my powerbook monitor they have enough contrast. However most people do not use a powerboook with osx and I would like to fiddle around a bit more with my template. I have started a new thread here to get some more feedback. http://forum.pixelpost.org/showthread.php?p=36405#post36405

I have tried to update my blog before and it did not quite work. I had to upload all my photos again. This was not a big problem as I had the blog running for a couple of weeks then and it was not public yet. To be fair I must say that I tried to update it with an early version of Pixelpost 1.5.

At the moment I am happy with the 1.4.3 version. Its working very well.
