Hi!
Tonight, I downloaded PixelPost for the first time. I thought I would give it a shot and try it out. I've had a photoblog since 6/2005 and have used Wordpress to power it.
Now, I love Wordpress as a blogging tool - but as a photoblogging tool, it's not so hot. I've tried all the different Wordpress photo gallery plugins and just wasn't happy with any of the results.
Earlier this eve I gave PixelPost a try and a few hours later, I ditched my Wordpress powered photoblog and am currently bring the content of that over to my new PixelPost photoblog. It was super easy to install and set up - and I've designed a template of my own to use with it (the template is still a work in progress - - but it's getting there!)
My photoblog is at http://snappingphotos.com
I'm using the lightbox addon - - with the full sized link and the autoresize.
I don't currently have the autoresize addon working - - it's all installed correctly, but it's not resizing the photos or creating the fullsized photos - so that's something I have to work on yet. In the meantime, I've been creating the fullsize photos on my own and uploading them to the images directory.
But - I've got pretty darned far on the set up and design of it considering I only just installed it today. That's quite a testimonial for how user friendly it is to work with - - excellent job on the development of this tool!
I also design (http://ewebscapes.com), develop and host (http://blogs-about.com)blogs for a living. Whenever I've had clients request a photoblog - I've always used MT with some custom templates to power it. I can say I'll not be doing that any longer . . I'll be recommending PixelPost to my clients from now on I think!
Just wanted to say KUDOS!
