After getting some complaints about missing photos (see this thread for details: http://forum.pixelpost.org/showthread.php?t=4993) I created my first addon. It is incredibly simple add and allows you to show the current number of images in your blog. This provided a consistent numbering scheme for the site so your guests are less likely to assume there are photos missing when they look at the image_ids in the urls.
You can see it in action on my site: www.invisiblegreen.com I am using the <IMAGE_NUMBER> tag privided by my addon with the <SITE_PHOTONUMBER> to show the current number out of the total number of photos posted.
I hope someone else finds this useful. I have only tested this with version PP 1.5, and make no claims that it works on anything else. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
