Hello everyone,
I'm just starting out with Pixelpost, and I have three installations going right now. They're all pretty much basic, with a few changes here and there, but in the first few days, my friend noticed something in the look-and-feel department. When using categories to browse, I select an image, and it pulls up. When I click the image, the next image chronologically comes up regardless of category. This doesn't seem like a "bug," in as much as a feature that probably wasn't incorporated into the original system, and might be difficult to make work properly based on the way things are written. Is there a plugin/modification/setting that would allow browsing by category, and movement within that category?
I'll give you an example to show what he means:
I go to a wedding, and I shoot three shots of the cake, take three pictures of a stray dog that ran through the reception, then three pictures of the reception band. I upload all nine of the images, and put the first and last three into the "wedding" category (for folks to browse who are interested in our wedding shots), and the dog shots into the "animals" category. When someone wants to look at animal pictures, they select the "animals" category, and up pops the latest dog picture. If they click that dog picture, it currently would bring them to the first picture of the band that I shot/uploaded. My desired behavior would be to display the next (first?) picture within that category ("animals"). Then, if a customer wants to view my wedding shots, they only see "wedding" category shots.
Again, I realize that this is probably something at the very core of the application that would require a LOT of modification to make happen, but I figured it didn't hurt to ask!
Thanks for a great application!
