SPAM SPAM and more SPAM

I'm w/MediaTemple which is fantastic about customer service but I'm getting hundreds of comments on my photoblog. They are ALL spam.

Examples: "Nice site, Thanks :) Link"
"Well done!" 20x on the same image and multiple others. etc...

This is out of the scope of hosting support. Wtf do I do?

what to do?

1st: tell us the version of your Pixelpost installation
2nd: if it is not 1.5, update!

I'm running version 1.5 - April 2006

you should upgrade absolutely, the final version is from July and all our main effort was to stop spam and to secure Pixelpost

April version is outdated, please update asap!

And if you still get spam then you can test my small solution (template) which is try to fight with SPAM bots. As I need some testers it would be great to install it on few pblogs. Still there is option of redesign it (from visual point of view) but there is coded main idea what I wanted to do (to be public solution) long time ago.
