How to Migrate my Photoblog to New Machine

I just got a new Mac and want to migrate my photoblog to the new machine. My key questions:

1) I assume I can just copy my pixelpost folder from one computer to the other?

2) Is there an easy way to copy my MYSQL database to the my new Mac? I have a barebones understanding of Unix and MYSQL so am hoping there is a "migrating a MYSQL database for dummies" approach somewhere?

I always do on my pc and pc notebook, but I don't know if mac is the same.

all the mysql database is in folder: mysql/data/YOUR_PIXELPOST_DATA_FOLDER

and just copy this folder to the mysql database on any other pc.

It wont be all as you need also MySQL db access data.

1. Files just like you wrote - copy it and add correct access rights where it is needed.
