So I'm just getting going with my photoblog. And over the past year I've poked around admiring the dozen's of amazing blogs out there...but now that I'm designing my own, I have to ask...
What is the ideal resolution for your photos? I would assume that this best be decided based on what people's monitor settings are, right? Someone who keeps their monitor resolution at 800x600 would have to scroll around my massive images vs. someone like me who keeps their monitor at 1024x768.
Right now I'm maintaining a high resolution for my photos, while confining the image's size to 950 pixels across. I'd like to think that anyone who's visiting my photoblog will be working with 1024x768, but does anyone have the specs on what percentage of people are using the different resolutions? Or a script that would resize the image based on peoples setting?
