Display first image uploaded first

Hello,
I would like to display the first image uploaded on the first page. In other words, I'd like to have the order reversed: instead of having the last picture uploaded first I would like to have the first.

Do you think that this functionality exits as addons, template or something else?

no, as far as I know this wasn't realized until now
should not be too difficult for an Admin-Addon or so, just reverse the SORT in the query
instead of ASC DESC
