Display Current Day

How do I have something like the "next" button, it disappears when there are no photos ahead of the current one, but instead of a "next" button I have a javascript?

This would be used to make the "today" page look cleaner and will less clutter.

It seems no one understood me, so instead of making another thread ill try reword what i was trying to say.

I would like to have /index.php display a pixelpost page a little different than one displayed on /index.php?showimage=###. Meaning, that the most current image, or the image of "today" would have a different looking page. Can anyone suggest how I could go about to accomplish that?

Please look on blogs of people who have such solution and ask them or even look into their source code of template and try to arrange it. It will be the best way.
