G'day all,

I've installed this random image addon.

However, i don't seem to be able to work out how to actually use it sucessfully.

I've added a link for the random image, however it doesn't work.

Hopefully someone can help me out asto what i've done wrong?

G'day yourself.

Make sure you've uploaded the random_image.php file into the addons directory.

And check your code. It should be like this (with whatever you want in the place of random)
<a href='index.php?showimage=<IMAGE_RANDOM>'>random</a>

That works fine for me. I just added it to my blog.

hmm, that is what i've got. And i have uploaded the random image php file to the addons folder. Any other ideas?

hmmm... did you upload in ascii?
are you 100% sure you have exactly that code?
it works on my blog. sorry I don't have any more ideas.

In my pixelpost admin i've had a look at my addons.

There is something funny about the random image one... As you can see in this image, all its data is replaced in this window by the data of the random thumbnail, apart from the name.

Any ideas?

Sorry upload in ascii? What is ascii? Is it just an FTP program? If so, i didn't upload in ascii, but i uploaded in an equivalent program. - cyberduck

:) I just re-downloaded the php file. then replaced my old php file. and the problem is fixed. There must have been something funny in the coding of the old file?

Where did you re-download the file from? I just downloaded it from the link in your first post but I still get the same problem in the screenshot you posted.
