Hi,

I have Pixelpost RC1 installed on my site. Everything has been running peachy for months, but I just noticed before that all my comments have disappeared off my site.

I checked the 'installed databases' on my website administration, and the entire database 'pixelpost_comments' has disappeared :( If I try and look using phpMyAdmin, it says it cannot open the pixelpost_comments.

I made a database backup a few months ago, but it's too old and I would prefer to just start again from scratch.

So, I basically know nothing about mySQL apart from the fact that it exists. What I want to know is, is there a way to create a new 'pixelpost_comments' part of the database, and begin the comments from scratch again?

Any help really appreciated!

Thanks,

Lee

Um..that makes no sense. Can you elaborate?

weeks ago I somehow deleted the table "pixelpost_comments" in phpmyadmin. but I noticed that at once. so I rebuilt the table soon. fortunately I'd just made a backup.

I meant if you had deleted it unconsciously.

Try to use options like optimize or repair table from phpMyAdmin.

Hi,

After doing some reading on mySQL, I managed to rebuild the tables.

Thanks for the help, and sorry for wasting forum space :(
