Not receiving email notifications on comments

I'm not receiving email notification on comments... My photoblog is http://ovidiu-tutunaru.evonet.ro/
My e-mail account is on gmail. I checked the spam folder in my account but the comments weren't there.
I don't know what I can do!

The settings are ok, I think!

does your hoster use sendmail for email transport?

No, I haven't received any mail from my blog.
And yes, I think my hoster uses sendmail.

ok, could you make sure that your hoster uses sendmail? ask him via mail or something like that :)

perhaps you post here the info from your "general info" section as well.

I just placed a comment on the latest image.
it takes very long until the redirection page comes.
do you have something else installed? addons, spam protection, etc.?

on the other had some experiences with hosters who don't allow access to the sendmail binary with php. (used by the mail directive of php). had to use pear:mail module there don't know if this is the case with your hoster.. just a wild guess

Ask your hoster about option of sending emails direct from PHP. They should give you answer what is wrong.
