free host for pp

Is there a place (provider) to install pp free. I have some friend who whant to install pp, but they dont want to pay for a domain name and web hoster.

If you know somewhere to install pp on free server please tell.

as far as I remember lycos offered 50mB free hosting with PHP and MySQL, but I am not sure whether this is still actual

but did you look into the hosting section here? A friend offered free pp - hosting there some time ago..

I saw free pixelpost blogs hosted by lycos. They are slow and you get a lot of advertisement banners on all pages.

If you want free, try Blogger (http://www.blogger.com) or Flickr (http://www.flickr.com).

You can't run pixelpost on them, but with some work you could make it look like pixelpost. And for free, who is going to complain?

But if you want full control, like I do, get a web host and install pixelpost. Done.
