How do I add the paged archive/calendar to my site?

My site is working fine and based on the simple template, but soon I will want to have extra pages due to the number of photos. However I can find very little information about how I add the archive facility, I have the tags but have no idea what to do next.

My current site is here: slackerpedia.com (http://www.slackerpedia.com/pixelpost/index.php)

Is there a guide anywhere detailing how to add this facility to a site?

have a look at the Page-By-Page-Archive addon, it sould have come together with your pixelpost installation.
There are a few new tags to use, it is explained in the Addons page in Admin panel.
Just replace the "old" Tags in browse template by the "paged" ones.
There is also a Tag for the link to paged archive for use in image template

Thank you so much for your help. I am now able to choose a month and show thumbnails from only that month. However, how do I limit my thumbnail page to say, 30 photos per page? I added the code to go to the next page number but nothing is there as all 57 photos are still shown on the main page. Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify, I'd like my 'browse' page to show about 40 photos instead of all of them, with links to the other pages displayed.

I have set that number at 20 but it has no effect on my site, it still always displays everything. I will carry on playing with it...

OK I have it working displaying only 20 images, and I can click on page 1 2 or 3. But if I click on next or previous instead of a page number I get a page with no images on it. Is this a bug do you know?
