View Full Version : Thumbnailing in Camino

I just tried to post a photo from Camino for the first time. It all worked except for cropping the thumbnail. The picture loads and the cropping border comes up and can be moved but the '-' and '+' buttons don't do anything and when you click "crop" or "update thumbnail" it goes back to the images list with the top corner of the image as the thumbnail - not the area you selected (or just doesn't update it).

Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

FYI: PP v1.5 Final
Camino v1.0.3

have you tried cropping the thumbnail in "edit images"?
If that also fails, you can download the flash_crop_addon, perhaps this will work. I think it better anyways ;-)

I'm pretty sure I tried that, although I'm not exactly sure what you mean... I'll have a look at the flash one, although it would be nice if things worked without having to work around.
Perhaps 1.6 will work.

The cropping feature doesn't work too well in Safari either.
You can move the box, but resizing the rectangle messes it up.
It does however work fine with FireFox.

i use camino fine - i think it also depends on what version of java you have installed.
