Flash Crop not working

My server has just had a major outage and things seem a bit creaky afterwards. I find that the flash crop doesn't work. When I click on flash crop the previous image opens up and I get this message;
Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open '../images/tmpimage1.jpg' for writing in /home/mlpinxit/public_html/includes/flash_crop_classes/CropImage.php on line 238

Chmod this file (using FTP client) to at least 644 or 666 if previous doesnt solve problem (or 777 if both doesnt work).
