Hi, I think I've got a good reason for implementing image subfolder or something so.
There are ISP that limit the number of files in a directory. For example Lycos tripod do so.
Then it is pretty easy to reach that limit, and after that? do we have to open another site?
Is it a good reason? :-)

Lately I saw a very simple gallery script: It just used the file structure of the uploaded photos for the category structure of the gallery. Folder name is used as category name and the browsing is very simple.
Perhaps an idea for a (far) future release?

Karin,
I do not think that this is a good idea, because how to do updates?
all addons must follow that as well...
I think if ISPs limit the number of files, these are normally free hosters,
and for very few money you get accounts with your own domain and huge space without restrictions, 40GB for 4,95 $... as an example
there are scripts which just read all files from one folder, very simple scripts, but these are for galleries not for photoblogs...

Yes Connie, I know all that ;-)
I didn't mean seriously to have Pixelpost changed. I just found that a very simple method for the DAUs among my customers ;-)
And yes, that is gallery and a very simple one
