As far as I know, to do thumbnails and the archive page, it requires some modifications to pixelpost.
I'm pretty sure Jay Williams, the developer of this addon, has covered this somewhere in his multiple postings about the post slug addon.

Oh you can, look at my photoblog (in signature). Everything uses the post slug addon including the RSS feed. But this requires modification to the pixelpost files.
I'll talk to Jay and maybe we can come up with a solution.

I have a version of post_slug that converts the RSS and Thumbnails links, right out of the box.
Here is the link:

GuiiuG, the PostSlug addon is currently only compatible with Pixelpost v1.5.
When I upgrade my site to v1.6, I will port the PostSlug addon to the latest version. So for the time being, either use an older version of Pixelpost, or wait until PostSlug has been ported.
I've tryed it with pp 1.6, and it works. the browse page didn't work, I have changed a few lines and it worked. I had only problems with some categories not founded. now I am back and I have deleted the addon.
