Hi. I'm using PP 1.5 and am in the process of moving my site to a new host, so I'm redesigning my blog and starting over with new photos, etc.
I'm trying to make the calendar archive work (scanning the forum for information) but still not finding any good answers. I'm hoping to end up with something similar to this: http://www.thinsite.net/photoblog/index.php?x=archivecalendar.
Basically, I've downloaded the calendar_archive.php file and am stuck trying to figure out how to link to it/modify it, etc. from the image_template.html file. Maybe I'm not in the right place, just not sure what else to try.
My photoblog is presently here and looks pretty hinky right now: http://64.227.212.31/.
Any help would be super. Thanks.

Sounds like you're trying to use the original calendar archive written by pixelpunk, and that one does not work with version 1.5.
Download the one from this link (http://www.pixelpost.org/v1/index.php?x=downloads&details=17), and you should have better success.
I've gotten it working on my version 1.5 site, which you can see here (http://www.kpimages.net/index.php?x=archivecalendar&curr_month=1&curr_year=2007). (I haven't gotten this finished yet, as version 1.6 came out, and I want to use the latest version on this blog.)
I did have to do a few modifications to it in order to get it working and to display the way I currently I have it.
Let me know if you still have problems, and I'll see what I can do to help.

Below is a link to a copy of my archivecalendar.php file. After saving it, you'll need to rename it to archivecalendar.php.
archivecalendar.php.txt (http://www.kpdesign.net/temp/archivecalendar.php.txt)
Rename your existing archivecalendar.php to archivecalendar-old.php, then upload this version to your addons folder.
See if this solves your problem.
You can see my version in action here (http://www.kpimages.net/index.php?x=archivecalendar&curr_month=1&curr_year=2007).

thanks for your fast reply!
But it doesn't work...
The table flips around and the 3 days off are still there... merde...
Well sounds like it isn't a bug in the archivecalendar.php but in an other?

never rename an addon in the archive folder.. all files there will be read
if you install a new addon (by copying it into the addon folder), delete the first one (after a backup, for sure!)
it could be that the problem still exists because the old file is existent there and interpreted ;=)

Hey guys,
I've been using the archive calendar for a while now (not sure which version) and have had no problems.... until now.
The date has shifted by one day. Today, Saturday 7th of April 2007 appears as Sunday. I've checked back to ensure that the leap year was recorded OK and it appears to be, so what could be up?
Here's a link to my calendar: http://photoblog.xlv.nu/archivecalendar
Thanks

Hi,
I install archive calendar, but it didn't work well.
° The alternative language didn't work.
° The days does not post the ones after the others, there are vacuums between the days.

I also have these problems too. :(
Please update it to support pixelpost 1.6. It's a great addon.

I really hope someone can help me with this dilemma I have in trying to get the "archivecalendar" addon to just look properly...
How do you think the author of thinsite (http://www.thinsite.net/) got his calendar (http://www.thinsite.net/photoblog/index.php?x=archivecalendar&curr_month=6&curr_year=2007) on his site to look properly with months that don't start on Sundays? To see what I mean, take a look at this calendar (http://www.thinsite.net/photoblog/index.php?x=archivecalendar&curr_month=6&curr_year=2007) then take a look at my calendar here (http://www.statvoid.com/index.php?x=archivecalendar) and you'll notice that the alignment for the first days of the month (on mine) are way off. On mine, if it doesn't start on a Sunday, the first week is completely out of line with everything else. I know for a fact that it's not a CSS problem, but a problem within the script itself.
If anybody could help me solve this problem, it would be much appreciated. I figure it's the same archivecalendar script I'm using, but slightly modified to look properly, I was just wondering if any one know how it could have been done. I've tried to get help before and tweak the code myself but to no avail.
