After I clicked on "Uprage" in "admin/install.php" during the install, ale seems right, but there was a funny mistake :) (I tried it fourtimes...)

Remember your data:
Username: there is..nothing:)
Password:

Automatic creation of tables

Table pixelpost_config created ...
Table pixelpost_categories created ...
...

THX for help:)

yeah.. that is correct. This behavior is because it only shows when it is a full install.

When you upgrade no changes are made to your database. We could show the username but the password is encrypted and we can not decrypt it. So that would be information which shouldn't be displayed when upgrading.

Thanks for noticing!

I´m installing it...not upgrading...there is no other button, only "Upgrade"...

And what can I do?:) How can I get to administration?:)
I dont understand why it is "yeah.. that is correct"...

You did an upgrade so you can use your old username and password.

In case you're upgrading from the beta release please let me know.

no:)
I did this:
1. into clean hosting I copied all files, set permisions,...
2. -> admin/install.php there was this:
STEP 1: Prepare database upgrade
This will update the database tables that are needed for this version of Pixelpost and add needed tables to support the new features. Press the Upgrade button to continue.
button "Upgrade"

nothing else...so I clicked Upgrade
3. it made the tables an wanted I sing in...but I have not user&pass...

that´s all. I dont type any user&pass anywhere.

I dont know where is the problem...:(

schonhose and phon.os:

I confirmed this on my dev environment. When you run admin/install.php with a new empty db, you only get a button to upgrade. If you click upgrade it installs all of the tables, but does not ask for a user name and password.

If you click the link to the admin interface and leave the user name and password field blank, you can login. You can then go to the options page and add a user name and password by using the "change" ADMIN USER & PASSWORD form.

I've got the same issue - new database and a clean install - not upgrading.

I go to admin/install.php, and I get:

----------------------
Installation

Welcome to Pixelpost 1.6 upgrade!

STEP 1: Prepare database upgrade

This will update the database tables that are needed for this version of Pixelpost and add needed tables to support the new features. Press the Upgrade button to continue.
----------------------

Any ideas on why this is happening?

it is indeed doing this and we are looking into it..during testing this didnt come up, so something was changed...

however, if you run the upgrade it still installs...then login with blank user/db and change your user/pass via the admin panel

we should have this fixed tonight or in the morning
