Installation - no username and password?!

I've followed the instructions for installing Pixelpost 1.6 but i have a big problem - i don't get any username and password!

As i understand, when you visit mysite.com/admin/install.php you should be able to choose a username and password, but i don't get that?! The only thing i can do is to press a "update"-button and then i get a page where it says that everything is OK and that i should log in to the adminpanel. On the top of that page it also says "username: password:" but it doesn't show any username or password!

What should i do?

As soon as you see one of the developers slap them around with a big large and smelly trout.
