An other fadein script?

Hi all,
I'm facing the same issue explained here (http://forum.pixelpost.org/showthread.php?t=5969) and I wonder if there is no alternative fadein script without the pixel loss issue ?

You could always try using moo.fx

it is not the fade in script that causes the pixel loss but the IE alpha opacity filter.
I am afraid you won't be able to do fading without that...

You could have it fade for all browsers except IE6.
That way you could avoid the DirectX opacity issue.
