Wiki and Akismet

The first line of the Wiki Main Page is:

"With imminent release of 1.5 stable..."

Is the wiki being updated? I ask, because i want to learn how to use and implement Akismet on version 1.6 and cannot find any relevant info for the latest release.

NOTE: I skipped from version 1.4 to 1.6

The only Akismet reference I find still treats its implementation as a hack/addon combo:

akismet addon comes with 1.6, the wiki is probably a little behind in some places, but a wiki is supposed to be maintained by the community, of which most of the wiki content is handled by pixelpost dev team only.

If you are in the 1.6 admin and go to addons, scroll down and you will see Pixelpost Akismet comment filter

Yes, the WIKI must be kept uptodate
but this is work and people tend to be lazy...

The text at the mainpage means "since the release of PP 1.5" ....
I corrected that because the mainpage is not freely editable

I also added the changelog from 1.5 to 1.6 there

The basics are the same as described in the hack/addon (from where it was growing with the kind allowance of the author):
Go to wordpress.com, get a free account there, get your Akismet key there, paste it into the addon field, verify it and watch it working.
