 All of the sudden... I am having a problem posting comments on my pixelpost photoblog.
SITE: http://pixels.dewaun.us/ (http://pixels.dewaun.us/)
I turned on the <TOKEN> add-on and added the tag to my comment template. When I fill out the comment fields and click "submit" it just goes blank and doesn't resolve.
Anyone know what is going on? This just popped up today -- I had just finished tweaking my template files.
I had the same problem on my blog too. Just by a sudden commenting was not possible anymore, but not for all users. Some managed to write comments. I did not. And I changed nothing on my blog, thats the strange thing! Well, I updated to 1.6 and currently everything is working again (I the spammers are back, what a glory!). But I'm interested in the solution and the cause of the problem. If you find out, tell me!

Interesting, it seems like the page loads for a second (you can see some html) and then it just stops.
Most likely there is a PHP error probably related to an addon. What you can do is turn off all third party addons (except the ones for the default pixelpost install) and check if the problem persists.

Okay...I'll give that a try and report back.

Okay...all third party add-ons are turned off, all spam control turned off, even used the default "Simple" template and comments still didn't work.
I've also turned TOKENs off and removed the TOKEN tag from my comment template.
You're right schonhose: It makes a blank page with the basic HTML structure and even refreshes back to the original page, but it won't save the comment to the DB and I just don't understand why comments are hanging up.

Today I helped another fellow Dutchman. It seems he didn't updated all the files. He was using a v1.5 index which causes things to break.
So, are you sure you uploaded all files?

uch:rolleyes:
well I did have the same problem with a fresh and clean 1.5 install, and with a 1.5 install with some addons: 1 second or so loading, but not the complete html page. But the strange thing was: for some visitors everything worked fine. For my girlfriend it did not work, for me instead it worked without problems (at least until some days ago).
Well, I upgraded to 1.6 and at the moment everything seems fine. I'll report back if the error returns.

LOL, you're the second one today who has done that. No, make that a third. I done it myself too. :) Glad it is working though
