Hi all,

I'm new to Pixelpost so please bear with me. :) I'd like to setup a photoblog on which everyone can contribute, i.e., when you are at my blog, you can see a form to post your photos.

I wonder if this is doable with Pixelpost? Any pointer will be extremely appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Pixelpost was built as a single-user simple photoblog system. But I'm sure with some time, you could make an addon that would do this.

However, it is not as simple as you might think. You would need some way for users to "sign up". Otherwise, people would abuse the system and post spam and other malicious content.

From the sound of it, a multi-user photo gallery might work better.

Update: Jay just answered my question. Thanks! :)

Thank you Jay, for the quick response.

I wonder if there is already some existing add-ons for queuing posts, and for admin to approve them before they appear on the blog.

Basically I'm thinking about a multi-user blog, instead of only doing it for my own.

Any comment? Thanks again!

You may want to check out some of the more versatile (yet more complex), bloging engines, such as WordPress. They support multi-user posts and "queuing" right out of the box.

And to answer you question, as far as I know, there are no addons for image queuing. Comments however do have a queue.
