I'm looking for a script that utilizes javascript for hiding/showing the comments input fields. I want the comments to be visible by default, but not the input fields.

I've seen it on several sites, but have been unsuccesful in contacting the people running these sites. Anyone know if there is such a script, or do I need to find a whole new template that supports it?

EDIT: What I'm looking for is a script that slides a div up/down and makes it visible/invisible.. You know what I mean.. something along the lines of what http://pixelcandy.tomyeah.com uses for comments.

the horizon template bundled with Pixelpost v1.6 has such a sliding comment section. It should be easy to change it so the comments are always visible and only the input fields are hidden

Have a look at what it is I want for my site here: http://escher.mat.ulaval.ca/pb/index.php

That is exactly what I want for my comments. It also looks like he is using Pixelpost, which greatly simplifies things for me. :)

Quite nice. I use http://script.aculo.us/ at my blog - you can check it live (link in signature).

I have the same principle: link in signature.
