Hey Folks,

Sorry for the long, well super long thread title :( Anyhoo - I just bought a new Nikon D40x and I spent all freaking day since 9am (it's 10pm now) reading the manual and taking pics... Although I am a film student (cinema) I love fotography and I just wanted to know if there are any good photography technique websites out there you would recommend!

Thanks folks ;)
-Joey

Also check out http://www.radiantvista.com/
Their daily critique videos have been invaluable in helping me improve my photography.

Don't know if it's what you're looking for, quite like photographycorner.com

join photography message boards and start reading other's posts.
www.fredmiranda.com seems to be one of the most popular ones out there

my best advice:
study the pictures of photographers, assist any photographer you hear is doing a shoot, talk to as many people in the area of photography as you want to go.

what kind of photography do you want to do? media? animals? entertainment? buildings? third world countries?
