Deleting Empty Posts (?)

More than once, I've accidentally hit the Upload button instead of Choose File while putting a post together and end up with a blank post that's impossible to delete. The only workaround I've found is to take down and rebuild the entire database. Huge pain.

Any ideas on how to remove a blank post without wrecking previous work? If not, would it be possible to put a little more space between the 2 buttons in the next version?
