Tom,

read the source code of that page and you will find:
A man who has nothing can whistle in a robber's face" (Juvenal)

I, on the other hand, have spent many, many hours teaching
myself HTML, CSS, javascript and the intricacies of Movable
Type - and chromasia.com is the result. So please don't steal
my design or my code.

That said, if you need some assistance coding your site, please
ask, and I'll do what I can to help.

Email me at:

djn1 [at] chromasia [dot] com

so I think you know the answer for your question?

I really liked his site design (specially the skins and the comment popup) and I emailed him about it. (This was when I used MT). He was more than happy to help, just ask.

Speaking of Chromasia, I like how his title appears in the upper right corner on the most recent post page, but when you go back to previous posts the date of the post replaces the title.

Is there a conditional tag for this in PP?

@Connie
the link is from the first post of this topic http://www.chromasia.com/iblog/

as far as I know it is not possible to to that in simple way. The page chromasia use is created from a dynamic page. the right top of the page shows the result of running a script. you can do that in pixelpost by writing the same behavior in an addon script and add a new tag by that and use that tag.

I don't believe that template has been released by it's author. If you asked kindly maybe they would share but a large amount of people like to create their own individual designs and they want to keep the individuality.

Keoshi is a friend of mine! His PhotoBloh is incredibly neat indeed! I'm sure if you asked him he would be thrilled to help you :)

www.chromablog.com is a near perfect copy of Chromasia (though the photos aren't as good).

On the "About" page the Chromoblog "designer" credits Pixelpost...

How embarrassing for him and for Pixelpost indirectly. Chromoblog was mentioned at Chromasia today and received a barrage of incindiary comments. I noticed the site has also been removed from Photoblogs.org -- a good move to discourage such blatant copying.

I'm not criticizing using templates, by the way, as long as the template is an original design, it's used by permission, and the designer gets credit.

Yup, harsh (but appropriate) way to learn the lesson...

haha, that poor bastard, the comments are just rolling in on his site, and not one of them has something good to say. One of the last comments was from him saying the site is going to come down, hopefully he has some better luck with the next one. Can't say I blame him totally though, chromasia is tempting to steal, he's done some really nice work with the photoblog.

He should have just ASKED david (chromasia) for some parts of the template...he would of let him use it. I did, and he allowed me to convert some of his MT template to pixelpost. But what chromablog did....that is blantent copying...shameful.

By the way, I personally think that chromasia is over rated.
Look around more, and you will find better template with better pictures :P
Seriously.
