cyberduck is an ftp client for OSX.

I use http://macrabbit.com/cssedit/ for CSS and http://macromates.com/ for editing code, the ftp software really doesnt matter, some let you edit right off the server, I use http://www.panic.com/transmit/ for FTP though, but each to their own...FTP is FTP in the end.

If you're using CyberDuck, then you're an a Mac, and you have TextEdit. That will open almost anything on that's on your Mac. You can download a copy of the file to your Mac, or edit the one in the pixelpost folder on your Mac. Edit the CSS file on your computer, then upload it to your server. That's one way. See below for other ways.

If your server uses cPanel, use the File Manager to navigate to the file you want to edit. Click on the file name. At the top right, a menu will appear. Click on Edit File. The file will open in an edit window.

Cyberduck is not an editor, but it can work with some editors. TextEdit doesn't connect with CyberDuck. Smultron does, and it's great. Helped me a lot when I was learning to write XHTML and CSS.

Install Smultron http://smultron.sourceforge.net/ Go to CyberDuck > Preferences > General. Set Smultron as the External Editor. The Edit icon in Cyberduck's toolbar will change into a Smultron icon. Navigate to the file on your server with Cyberduck, click once on it to select it, click on the Smultron edit icon. The file will open in Smultron, and you can edit the file on the server from your Mac via CyberDuck.
