Does it worth upgrading?

Hi there!

I´m still using 1.5 and quite happy with it. Do you guys think it is worth it to touch the running system?
I did a lot of modifications in the scripts, e.g. set up a bilingual photoblog based on 1.5 already.

How are your experiences?

To answer the question: is it worth it? yes, but if you have a hacked Pixelpost then you might be in for a surprise.

The core files have been changed, new files created, old ones deleted. Not much a problem for people who use it out-of-the-box with addons. For you, however, it might be more difficult.

PP 1.6 supports multiple languages, better SPAM protection, better EXIF handling, better RSS options and tons of bugfixes.

I suggest giving it a test drive on a different database, upload some pics, test your layout and see where the problems are.

I didn´t even think of the possibility with the second database..
