Create a new blog

Have my blog working fine during this year, now I want to create a new blog for 2008. is it possible just to rename the old root folder to ex 2007 and then in my new blog
link to it as an archive 2007 or does the the database crash ?
want to have the same address to my new blog.

That should work just fine.

Just make sure to edit the table prefix in the pixelpost.php file for your 2008 blog to something different than what was used in your 2007 blog.

Also, once the 2007 blog is moved, don't forget to goto the OPTIONS pane within the admin panel and fix the URL.
