Host offered to move me to PHP Version 4.3.10, to use exif

I'm currently hosted on a server running PHP v. 5.0.2 When my host added exif to 5.0.2 it caused problems for them.

They've offered to migrate me over to a server running 4.3.10.

I'm unfamiliar with any issues that this might bring up, should I request the transition? Should I get more info?

I'll check the FAQ, but if there are particulars to Pixelpost and 4.3.10 that anyone is familar with, I'd appreciate the help!

I think it is not necessary for you to move, because the new version 1.4 will not use the PHP-EXIF functions anymore but a special, integrated exif-class

so if pixelpost is running ok woth PHP 5.0 and you will update pixelpost when the final version is there (only some more days) then it will be ok

but with PHP 4 it will run as well, as most of the installations are going with PHP 4
