thumbnails missed

Hi There,

my english is not the best, but I will try it anyway. I hope you understand, what I'm trying to say. Okay: I want to show the thumbnails of all categories on the frontpage of the site and used the <IMAGE_THUMBNAIL_ROW> for this. Unfortunatly it doesn't work. A lot of thumbs are lost. I was trying and searching around for hours. Is there any way to fix this?

well it only shows a selection of images. It is never intended to be showing all.

That is for the browse page. You might want to check your adminpanel, I believe there is a maximum number of thumbnails you can set.

Thank you Dennis for your quick answer. Do I understand right: there are never shown all images in the thumbnail row?

What can I set in the adminpanel? There is only an option to set the count of thumbnails shown at once, ore not? Seven thumbnails in this case. But should I not find all pictures, when I go back in the row?

The thumbnail row doesn't show all the images. You can set the maximum thumbnails shown, but that might mess up your page layout.

If you want a scrollable thumbnail bar I can suggest the Flash Thumbnail Scroller Addon (http://www.schonhose.nl/pixelpost-addons/flashthumbscroller/).

Hi Dennis,

thanks a lot for the hint with the scroller. Works and looks fine. I have set the the count of thumbnails on 307 now (admin panel: options > thumbnails > thumbnail row), but the sroller is still showing just 16 thumbnails. Is maybe something wrong with my installation of pixelpost?

Okay, I got it. It scrolls, then it stops at a whitespace and then I can start it again and it scrolls up to the next whitespace. A bit tricky... hopefully the visitors of the site discover that too. But all thumbs are available now.
