right, i am trying to create embed this pixelpost into my website,

I need a column of 5 photos, with there comments next to them,

this must always be the top 5 photos,

how would i do this.

Pixelpost is a photoblog software and is thought to display only one image at the same time/page.
There is an addon for showing all images of one day on the front page:
http://www.pixelpost.org/extend/addons/today-images-multiple-photo-in-the-front-page/
perhaps you can extend that to your needs
