I just switched my pixel post database to a new web host. My first errors were that I wasn't connecting to the database and I figured that out, but now all I get is a blank screen--not even an error screen.

I searched on the forum for others that may have had the same issue but wasn't able to see any solutions. Any suggestions?

the site is: justinhackworth/pixel

Thanks.

First, download pixelpost again, and re-upload it.
See if that fixes the problem, if not...

Try removing the addons from the addons folder.
Addons commonly cause problems like this.

Try those and let me know if you have any success.

PP runs fine on PHP 5.x. We all develop under PHP 5.x ;)

I host several pixelpost user's sites. All sites went blank since last night. Obviously it is a downstream server change. I can see from cpanel they are running php v5.2.5 and MySQL 4.1.22-standard. Does pixelpost work on this version? I have an emergency ticket in... but any ideas?

maybe the database login has changed? Or they moved the database server to a different location so "localhost" isn't correct anymore as localhost?

Can you still log into your admin panel? If yes, please login and call your blog with "&errors" (or "?errors") added in the URL string. Tell us about the errors you see there

The whole thing had gone blank for several hours. Admin screen and all I put in an emergency ticket to the hosting company. About an hour later, they looked at my sites and emailed me back saying they looked fine. I checked again and there they were. I know it was nothing on my end, because I had not touched most of the accounts, and my friends 1000 miles away was seeing the same blank screen. They claim they did not do anything to it on their end to get back up either. So, I'm puzzled by it... buts its working fine now. Thanks anyway.
