i registered my site at photoblogs.org. it appears as 'twentyfourmillimeter photoblog'. i would like to remove 'photoblog'. i read in another thread that i need to edit the index.php and remove 'photoblog' in the rss section. i've done a search through the html and 'photoblog' does not appear anywhere. can anyone help?

You need to edit the title of the site in admin>options. Once you've removed "photoblog" from the title, or if you've already done it, you need to update/ping your photoblog. To do this you need to be logged in, then find your site, and click the link that says update/ping photoblog. This will change the title of the blog within photoblogs.org. If your URL has changed, then you can should contact someone through their contact form.

Calm down bevis. It's not that difficult. Login to your admin panel. Click the link called "options". There are several boxes on the page, one of them is called "title". Check the content of this box, if it says photoblog, remove it. If not then you just need to do the update/ping thing from photoblogs.org

You could also upgrade to PixelPost 1.7RC1. It gives you greater control over your feeds right from the admin panel. You will still need to login to photoblogs.org and update/ping your site though.

i must be a huge butthead because i still can't remove it. the title in my administrative options is 'twentyfourmillimeter' only, no 'photoblog'. i also pinged on photoblogs.org yet again. it still says 'twentyfourmillimeter photoblog'.

open includes/functions_feeds.php
Scroll alllllllllll the way to the bottom, you'll find what you're looking for, at least I hope so :p

No problem, just remember, this is a "hack" and you will need to do this every time you upgrade pixelpost!

Sorry, it would appear I was the butthead. Though, it's odd. I have not applied this hack, yet photoblogs.org doesn't have "photoblog" after my site title. I checked the feed_functions.php and it's still in the code to generate feeds with it, yet photoblogs.org seems to be dropping it.

It's because your template does not use the pixelpost template tags. Its "hard coded" into your template.
